Very good for quick grocery shopping visits by 1c bus. Staff is very friendly and fair. Prices are very affordable.

I have been inside west side foods about 4 to 5 times. I have been going on a daily basis because of the good deals but they are the only place to go to around here in Old Sandwich Towne. Now, they have very friendly staff and I found absolutely nothing wrong with the meat. I recommend this place to anyone in Windsor or Detroit. If you appreciate the family owned small business then this place is for you. It's not Costco or A&P, but that's why I like it. To have a fresh food business running great and it has yet been replace by the corporate giant yet!!!!
Sells local products..could use a weekly flyer for any specials.
I love the warm community feeling at Westside.. I love the fact that it is my neighbourhood grocery store. Just one more thing to love about Sandwich Town!
For other grocery items, they are a bit pricey but one can find the occasional amazing deal. They are a "Mom and Pop" kind of business. They are very personable, helpful and cater to the needs of individual shoppers. For a small fee they do home delivery which is a life saver to me.
They have the best meat deals. I used to avoid buying meat there because the freshness was questionable but in recent months I've been finding their meat has improved in leaps and bounds.
