Fast service, slightly sketchy crowd of customers but that's to be expected with the surrounding neighbourhoods.
Despite that this location caters mostly to a "specific kind of clientelle", they should realize that sometimes people that enjoy their beer for its taste also shop there. CHECK YOUR CANS if they bring them for you from the back in a bag. I purchased 8 imported beers in cans today, and did not think to check the bag. All 8 were badly dented. In case you fail to realize, a dented can will likely have damage to the coating layer on the inside and beer taste will be affected by the exposed aluminum. I doubt that anyone from the Beer Store company will read this, but in case you do, the employee that I dealt with had a close cut haircut and a small "Mohawk" in the middle. Very poor at customer interaction, not as much as "please", "thank you" or anything else despite me having used such language when addressing him. I would drive back there to return, but at this point it's not worth my time or money to incurr cost.
I been here a few times. It has fast service, lots of parking and the staff are professional.
I grew up just down the street on College Ave. I've been there probably hundreds of times. It has always been good service and there always seems to be improvements happening some way. Good place to get your beer.
