Presently at hospital here. Arrived here at 12:30 and it is 9:00. My folder keeps getting shuffled to the bottom of pile. Probably 50 people have went ahead. Extreme stomach pains.. No excuse. Nurses at desk are extremely rude. Will not come to this nightmare ever again

I don't care how long the wait is.

Or how dirty it is their

This experience at the ER was vile. I fell and had a tbi with loc, witnessed by numerous people, also with a freely bleeding laceration. I came to this ER at 4pm. I was triaged as "laceration". The fact that I had a tbi and a witnessed period of unconsciousness was ignored!! I waited 9 HOURS to be seen after a HEAD INJURY. What the hell is wrong with these people? My head was bleeding and throbbing for 9 HOURS in that waiting room. Staff were rude and many reeked of cigarettes. Patient information was easily seen all over the place. I could see my own xrays from the waiting room. I saw the triage screen with every waiting room patient's name and personal health info as i was getting an EKG and blood draw. The worst part was, after 9 hours waiting to be seen for my head injury and bleeding cut, I became fed up with the pain and confusion and rude staff and demanded to know what was going on. The head nurse, an extreme rude blonde woman, called security right away and WANTED ME TO LEAVE. She then wanted the police called. Again, this is after a 9 HOUR WAIT for treatment after a witnessed tbi with loc and bleeding head wound. What kind of hospital wants someone with a witnessed head injury to leave and/or to be arrested? This hospital does. Had i been thinking, I would have certainty gotten that nurse's name because she needs to GO and possibly be sued.

But the workers should have respect and be polite to people who are injured and sick.

I have never did a drug in my life, I play sports, I don't look like a drug addiction, I'm very healthy and active, and I'm thinking if she's treating me this way and having doubts about me, I wonder how she would treat a guy who actually looks like a drug addict. That's really sad, she shouldn't have a job their. I found out I sprained my ankle that night.

I went their last week, to get my leg checked because I sprained my ankle bad, I'm a active girl, and the curly hair lady, once again was in to much pain to get her name, she treated me like I was a drug addict, even the black guy before me as well. She asked me if I'm looking to get drugs, and then said read the paper on your left, I told her I'm their to get a xray and see the doctor, and then she tells me do you do street drugs and started naming them all. And I clearly said no, and this is the part that blew my mine away '' 'She says are you sure' '' with a doubt on her face, I was so disgusted.

Waited for 12 hours before I got to see a doctor (I'm 15 btw), I went in with extreme chest pain (with a history of extreme chest pain before). After 3 hours I was given a blood test and and EKG but only after constant begging. Doctor told me that if I had been a medical anomaly and had a heart attack (which is super duper uncommen for my age but still) I would probably been dead or almost dead by the time I got to see him. Would not recommend.

My second bad experience their.

Very very very ignorant and rude triage workers, I went their about 2 months ago! And the Italian chubby lady, she has a big belly, didn't get her name. She's so rude, I had very very extreme back pain, I couldn't stand or sit for to long or I'd scream of pain, so I asked them nicely for a bed to lay down on or I'd have to lay on the ground, and she started yelling at me, clearly she doesn't understand English..

Avoid this disaster of a hospital at all costs.

Sandra the GEMwas discharging my Mom said nothing wrong with her just dehydrated and lost muscle strength. Was going to ship her off to a nursing home. Fought for my Mom. She is at ouellette fighting for her life she is Paralyzed from the chest down! Totally disgusted with the ER at Met. The staff on the 5th floor great listened to us and the staff at ouellette are awesome. Sandra should be fired
